Gender Justice Summit at Oakwood

About the Organizers

Oakwood students and faculty bring together leading human rights activists from around the world for Oakwood’s Gender Justice Summit (GJS). This landmark event, with a focus on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal #5: to achieve gender equality, is organized and facilitated by a group of passionate, advocacy-driven Oakwood students.

The Pad Project is a global nonprofit that expands access to menstrual care products, combats period stigma, and champions menstrual equity for all.

The mission of OCHR is to inspire a new generation of students into action for human rights by creating access, providing opportunities, establishing a pipeline for underrepresented students, and building a new community of practice.
