Elizabeth Spies is a key member of Direct Relief’s disaster response team, ensuring women’s reproductive health remains a priority in humanitarian aid efforts across the U.S. and more than 80 countries, throughout the year and especially during disasters. Through distributing Midwife Kits, Fistula Repair Modules, and reproductive health services, she helps protect women throughout their lives, especially in low-resource and emergency settings.
