Honorable Congresswoman Daba Wagnane
Honorable Congresswoman Daba Wagnane is a member of the Bureau of the National Assembly of Senegal, where she serves as an elected Secretary. An English teacher on secondment, she also leads the Jiguen Pastef Movement (MOJIP) in the Kebemer department. She holds a Master’s degree in English, a Master’s in Accounting and Finance, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management.
Congresswoman Daba Wagnane has long championed girls’ education and remains a strong advocate for women’s empowerment. As leader of the Jiguen Pastef movement, she has trained hundreds of women in local product transformation and actively supports girls’ entrepreneurship. She is deeply committed to amplifying women’s voices and contributing to the social and economic development of Senegal.
