Julia Aks

Julia Aks is a filmmaker, actor, and opera singer based in Los Angeles. She rose to internet fame when her parody music video of Ariana Grande’s 7 RINGS went viral, being posted by Ariana herself. Combining her loves of sketch comedy, pop culture, and an uncanny Julie Andrews impression, Julia cultivated a successful YouTube following. In 2023, she co-wrote/directed and starred in the award-winning Oscar-shortlisted film JANE AUSTEN’S PERIOD DRAMA, a 13-minute narrative satire about menstruation. The film screened at the Tribeca Festival and has won over 29 Audience and Jury awards. On stage, Julia has performed with companies such as LA Opera, The Industry, La Mirada Theatre, Boston Court Theatre, 3D Theatricals, and the Independent Shakespeare Company. Roles include: Laurey in OKLAHOMA!, Helena (4x) in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, and originating the role of Jig in the dramatic musical adaptation of Hemingway’s HILLS LIKE WHITE ELEPHANTS. You can also see Julia serving shots on Marvel’s AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D., and hear her singing high notes as the featured vocalist on the score for JOHN WICK III.
