Mads Zygarewicz
Mads Zygarewicz is a multidisciplinary artist and Visual Arts teacher at Oakwood School, where they also serve as faculty advisor for the Queer Straight Alliance and Multiracial Affinity groups. A queer Paraguayan-Ukrainian immigrant, Mads draws inspiration from intersectionality and centers identity, curiosity, and belonging in both their art and teaching practice. They are passionate about empowering students to explore their voices through creative expression and to engage thoughtfully with the world around them. Outside the classroom, Mads enjoys bodysurfing and traveling with their family. They are thrilled to curate the art show at Gender Justice Summit 2026.
